FXOpen send Choya to MLG Anaheim
In keeping with trend at the moment, yet another Korean has announced that they will be attending the Major League Gaming (MLG) comeptition that is to be held in Anaheim later this month. However, Hyung Seop 'Choya' Lee has not been invited as part of the MLG/GSL Exchange Program, he has been sponsored by FXOpen to attend the competition.
Joshua Dentrinos, Esports Manager of FXOpen announced the decision to send Choya to Anaheim on a popular Starcaft 2 community website saying "I felt it my duty to pay him back" for his personal hospitality.
"Whilst in Korea, I have made alot of friends, alot of foes, and alot of neutrals. ChoyafOu has been one of those people who have really made an impression on me personally, and I felt it my duty to pay him back and hopefully give him a good impression of not only myself, but foreign e-sports in general," explained Dentrinos.
"So, in return for his hospitality with me personally, I have decided to fly him to MLG Anaheim, to play with the FXO team and the foreigners and koreans that are participating in MLG Anaheim."
During the MLG Anaheim competition Choya, of South Korea based For Our Utopia (fOu), will wear FXOpen branded clothing that sports a "ChoyafOu" label. However, the FXOpen manager stresses that Choya has not joined FXOpen and this is "merely a gesture to show his appreciation for me sending him to MLG."

Hyung Seop 'Choya' Lee
Choya has an extended history of competeing in South Korea's Global Starcraft 2 League (GSL) and has featured in both the Code A and Code S divisions. His highest venture into the GSL was during the third open season held in 2010 where he was beat in the quarter finals by Team Liquid's Jonathan 'Jinro' Walsh. Since then he has had a steady run of results and played his role in a scandal where he was caught pausing ladder games and deciding the outcome via rock-paper-scissors. He publically apologised and was banned from the first season of the Global Stacraft 2 Team League (GSTL) - now he heads to America!
